I happened to read your post in tripadvisor. I wondered if you could tell me the apartment name of your stay in Riomaggiore. It looks romantic and fantastic though.
I Limone and here’s the website address http://www.limonicamere.it/cinque-terre-eng.htm. It was clean, affordable, room was small but balcony was huge. You could take a bus up to the castle and then climb the rest of the way. I would do the walk down. Lovely multiple generation famiy hosts. She had mountain flowers picked for our room and a bottle of wine to welcome us as we were celebrating an anniversary. Let me know if you have any other questions-I love remembering the details of our trip. It takes me back there.
Oh, Kath, your pictures make me joyous that I’ve been to Italy, but sad because I’m not there now! Darrell and I had the pleasure of exploring Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius last year for 10 days. I could absolutely live there.
Wish I had known that you were going. We would have encouraged you to stay in Prairiano on the Amalfi Coast. A quaint and quiet little place but just a 10 minute bus ride (harrowing on the cliffs) from the exquisite Positano!
